Bale is the perfect place to visit during the summer, when a variety of events are held that attract different audiences. From theatrical performances at the Bembo fest to enjoying top music at the Last Minute - Open Jazz festival, the offer is diverse and attractive for every visitor. There are also traditional events such as the Castrum Vallis exhibition and Baljanska noci, which is full of song, socializing and traditional cuisine. Admission to all programs is free, which adds to the charm of this beautiful town.

Bale is not only a place for summer activities, but also for enjoying art, music and socializing throughout the year. The city comes alive with numerous concerts, exhibitions, sports programs and book presentations, offering its visitors a wealth of content and an unforgettable experience in a beautiful setting.

Finale of the International Music Festival in Bale

On Friday, July 4th, the Festival evening will be dedicated to the absolute winners of two international guitar competitions: the “Altamira Competition” held in Bale in 2024, and the “Altamira Mercatali Competition” held in Gorizia in May 2025.
Performing will be Sara Celardo (winner of Bale 2024) and Leon Ravnikar (winner of Gorizia 2025), presenting works by the most important composers for the guitar.

On Saturday, July 5th, the outstanding Bulgarian guitarist David Dyakov, winner of over 25 international awards, will take the stage with a program featuring the most famous Spanish musical works.

The Festival will conclude on Sunday, July 6th, with the final concert of the winner of the Bale-Valle 2025 competition. That final evening will also feature the official awards ceremony and the announcement of the winner of the 9th edition of the competition.
