CAC Bale 2026
11.04. - 12. 04. 2026.
The International Dog Show CAC Bale – Bale Dog Shows, one of the longest-running canine events in Croatia, is celebrating its 19th edition this year, having been held in Bale 17 times. This year’s event will take place on April 11 and 12 across four rings around the Bale Sports Hall.
The event includes two national shows: CAC Rovinj (Saturday, April 11) and CAC Poreč (Sunday, April 12). A large number of exhibitors from Croatia and abroad are expected, with around 500 registered dogs over the two days.
Special emphasis is placed on promoting native Croatian dog breeds, including the Istrian Shorthaired and Wirehaired Hounds, the Posavac Hound, the Tornjak, the Dalmatian, and the Međimurje dog.
Professional judging of the dogs’ conformation and temperament will be conducted by licensed international judges in four separate rings. For Bale, this event represents more than just a canine competition; it brings together sport, dog breeding, and the social life of the local community.
The program starts each day at 10:00 AM, with afternoon sessions reserved for selecting the Best in Show.
