The Church of St. Helena (or St. Elena or Sant Elene) is also a place in Bale where you can rest your soul while enjoying art at the same time.

Namely, the Bale-based artist Renne Rajčević opened an exhibition of sacred drawings in the small church last week, and every day she creates there as visitors come in, look at the drawings, and observe Renne as she draws – surrounded by peace, silence, and the beauty of the church.

It is a special experience, and during that time the church is bathed in a unique light.
Renne is thus expanding the exhibition collection on site. Visitors sit next to her and watch her draw – a unique experience in Istria and beyond.

She is in the church every day from 5 PM to 8 PM.
If any local or international guests wish to see her earlier, they can call the Bale Tourist Office (TZO Bale), and Renne will open the church earlier on request.
