Liviana, Marija, Milva and Milena are coming again with the Fugaselas

This Saturday and Sunday, Le Fugasele will once again be shared at Trg La Musa in Bale.

It’s time to introduce the four ladies behind the preparation and distribution of this traditional sweet from Bale.

They are Liviana Modrušan, Marija Bilić, Milva Baričević and Milena Cuccurin.

For quite some time now, they have been an indispensable part of events in Bale.

The result is a fragrant and delicious dessert, simple to prepare, which for many—just like Proust’s madeleine—immediately evokes childhood and grandma’s kitchen.

And so it will be again this Saturday at 11 a.m. and on Sunday at 4 p.m.
