A weekend dedicated to children
A weekend dedicated to children
This Saturday, December 13th at 11:30 AM, the Birikina Pula Association is coming to Bale with a new children’s play, “The Emperor’s New Clothes”, written and directed by Dejan Gotal and inspired by the timeless tale by Hans Christian Andersen. The play premiered this week, so we are truly welcoming a completely new performance.
Through play enriched with Baroque music, it explores themes of vanity, the need for admiration, and the courage to speak out about what everyone sees but remains silent about. The youngest audience members will follow the emperor’s fashion whims and the court’s gullibility, with plenty of fun and laughter.
The cast includes Šandor Slacki, Sedina Cerovac and Marin Leo Janković, while the costumes and set design were created by Leana Alić. The performance is free of charge, and we invite children to join in great numbers.
On Sunday, December 14th at 11 AM, the little ones can again look forward to an interesting and festive program. Under the title “Starry Art Corner – Yellow Umbrella”, a two-hour workshop for children will take place, accompanied by the serving of the traditional treat Le Fugasele.
Join us this Saturday and Sunday in Bale with your little ones! The entire program is free and takes place at La Musa Square.
