Anatomy of the Unknown – exhibition by Breza Žižović
As part of the 9th Young Theatre Festival in Bale, the exhibition “Anatomy of the Unknown” (Anatomija nepoznatog) by artist Breza Žižović will open at the "Ulika" Gallery.
The exhibition presents a cycle of mixed-media works that explore the boundaries between biomorphic abstraction and microanatomy. Through a layered dialogue of fluid watercolour surfaces, intuitive capillary drawings and precise geometric lines, the artist creates a kind of visual diary of nonexistent organisms and internal structures.
The series functions as a visual laboratory in which lines, shapes and colour contrasts become fragments of unknown systems. At the intersection of scientific imagination and artistic intuition, the works open up a space for reflection on organisms and structures that may remain invisible to the eye, yet form part of the complex systems of life.
